The Dos and Don'ts of College Life

     The dos and don’ts of college life. What should you do, and what would benefit your college life if you do not do it. You want to make your senior year enjoyable, amd make decisions that are going to be helpful in your future career. The question is what the dos, and what are the don’ts?

            The most important are the things you shouldn’t do; this way you can have a stress free college career. First off, do not give college any effort; you and your parents definitely didn’t do any hard work to get you to this point. Do not get involved in any college activities, getting to know others and your school will not benefit you in any way at all.  If you were thinking about bringing shower shoes to college, do not, athletes foot and other feet fungus are fun, and are just part of the college experience. Your professors tell you to turn in a paper on a Monday, do not do this, and wait until later in the week, after all your professor is busy and he/she can’t handle that extra unnecessary assignment. Do not set any academic goals. Nobody needs them, and how hard can it be to follow a goal you never set? Most of all do not study, as this will take away from all the time you could be laying around. Plus you deserve to be lazy right? After all you did survive high school.

            Now that you’re clear on what you don’t do in college what are the things you should do? Do leave your shoes on when you fall asleep. Everyone enjoys artwork on their faces right? Facebook is a great way to contact your peers, make sure you do get addicted to Facebook at all costs. Do freak out and overstress yourself; you’ll never believe how much of a wonderful feeling this is. You know those credit cards with all the freebies right? Make sure you do sign up for all of these. Everyone loves freebies. College nights are fun. You get to have all the freedom your parents never let you have, so do make sure you stay up late every night. Do bring that fifty inch plasma TV you like so much, and if you want to have even more fun, do bring all the game systems you have and play them over doing your work. Make sure you do take advantage of playing hooky in college; after all, in college they’re not going to punish you like in high school.

            Hopefully if you follow this guide, everything your first year of college will run smoothly. College is about having fun and breaking the rules you’ve never been able to break. Does your future career even really matter?
